Collette originally from Roscommon joins Carlow Arts Festival for the first time this year following several years in Australia and New Zealand. While overseas she was part of a government-appointed secretariat that developed a new Ministry for vulnerable children called Orangi Tamariki. Collette also spent several years working for start-up tech companies such as leading VR innovators 8i. She graduated from the Institute of Technology Tralee with a degree in Folk Theatre and has worked extensively with the National Folk Theatre in addition to a series of productions and works with The Performance Corporation, Dublin Theatre Festival, Culture Night, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Cork Midsummer Festival, Roscommon and Mayo Arts Offices and the Rose of Tralee International Festival. She is thrilled to be joining the Carlow Arts Festival in its forty-first year.
